Chess academy management software

Everything your academy runs on.

01

Student management

Add every student once and assign them to their coach. Each student gets their own sign-in, and their puzzles, homework, games and attendance stay on their profile.

02

Classes & coach groups

Every coach has their own group of students and opens a live class in one click. Students join from their dashboard, and each class is kept with who came and what was played.

03

Coach dashboards

Each coach sees their classes, students, homework and fees on one screen. How every student is doing over the last weeks is there at a glance.

04

Attendance tracking

Attendance is marked the moment a student joins a live class, so nothing has to be ticked by hand. Coaches see each class’s register and every student’s history.

05

Fee & payment tracking

Give each student a fee plan, see what is due each month and record payments as they come in. The dashboard shows who has paid and what is still owed.

06

Student progress tracking

Puzzles solved, homework done, games won and classes attended, for every student over time. Share a Progress Story each term that students keep and parents can read.

07

Live lessons & homework

Teach on one board every student sees, push puzzles, start bot games or a simul, and watch every student’s board at once. Between classes, set puzzle homework in a few clicks.

08

Games students love

Chess Battle bosses, Puzzle Racer, daily quests, a world map and a pet buddy. Students keep coming back to practise, and every bit of it counts on their profile.

What’s inside

Teaching tools kids actually love.

The parts coaches open every week: races, openings, games to study and cups to win, all on the same board as the class.

  • Puzzle Racer

Open a race room and share the code. Every puzzle solved moves a car up the track: two minutes, flat out.

  • Opening Room

Build opening studies with the opening book and engine beside the board. Students practise them as White or Black.

  • Game Databases

Annotated games, chapter by chapter. Show one in class and every student’s board follows your moves.

  • Class Cups and simuls

Start a Swiss cup with clocks and standings, or take on the whole class at once, without leaving the lesson.

  • Progress Stories

A term of classes, puzzles and wins, turned into a story students keep and parents can read.

  • Curriculum workbook

Write lessons once. Students work through them like a workbook, with a board on every page.

One place for the whole academy

The admin, handled between classes.

  • Academy overview

Classes, students, homework and fees on one screen.

  • Students

Every student’s puzzles, attendance and last visit.

  • Classes

A live board every student sees and answers on.

  • Attendance

Marked the moment a student joins the class.

Plans, dues and who has paid this month.

Who is growing, and who has gone quiet.

Why academies switch

One board, not five apps.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What academies ask before they move their classes to Chess64 Studio. Anything else? Ask us on a demo call.

What is Chess64 Studio, and who is it for?

Chess64 Studio is one place to run a chess academy. Academies manage their coaches, students, fees and reports; coaches teach live classes, set homework and follow every student’s progress; students play, practise and watch themselves improve. It works for a single coach as well as an academy with many.

Can it carry my academy’s brand?

Yes. Your academy’s name, logo, favicon and colours go on the login page and through the app, and it can run on your own web address, such as academy.yourname.com. Students see your academy, powered by Chess64 Studio.

How do I start my academy on Chess64 Studio?

Book a demo and we set up your academy’s account. Then you add your coaches and students (each gets their own sign-in), assign students to their coach, and your coaches can open their first live class as soon as they sign in.

Can I run live online chess classes?

Yes. Coach and students share one live board: you show positions and lines, set a position for the class to solve and see the answers come in. Classes also have chat, Class Cups (a Swiss tournament with clocks, inside the class), simuls, and Game Databases to step through annotated games together. Video inside the classroom is coming soon; until then, keep your usual video call open alongside.

How is Chess64 Studio different from Chess.com or Lichess?

Chess.com and Lichess are great places to play. Chess64 Studio is where your academy runs: your classes, homework, attendance, fees and progress reports, under your own brand, with practice built to keep your students coming back.

Is there a puzzle library?

Yes. Students get unlimited practice puzzles by theme, from Lichess’s open database of millions of puzzles. Coaches also build their own puzzle library and can set any of it as homework, then see who has finished.

What keeps students practising between classes?

Practice is built like a game: twelve engine bosses to beat one level at a time, Puzzle Racer (every puzzle solved moves your car up the track), daily streaks, a league, and achievement cards that coaches award. For students who prefer a plain layout, Professional mode hides the playful extras.

What are the Opening Room and Game Databases?

The Opening Room is where coaches build opening studies chapter by chapter (paste or upload PGN, or play the moves) with an opening book and a Stockfish engine beside the board. Students practise them as White or Black, and can build their own. Game Databases hold annotated games, with comments, marks and side lines, that a coach can show in class while every student’s board follows along.

How do I track student progress?

Attendance is marked the moment a student joins a class, and every puzzle, homework and game is recorded, so you see who is growing and who has gone quiet. Each student has a game rating and a puzzle rating, coaches can write Progress Stories to share, and the academy gets reports across all its students.

Can parents follow their child’s progress?

Yes, by email: parents can hear when homework is set, get a reminder about it, and receive a weekly progress report and their child’s Progress Stories. Parent emails are switched on academy by academy.

Can I manage several coaches and classes?

Yes. The academy adds its coaches and students, assigns each student to a coach, and sees classes, attendance and fees in one place. Each coach teaches and follows their own students.

Is there a free trial?

Book a demo and we’ll walk you through the plans and the best way to start with your academy.

Can students play against each other?

Yes. Students can challenge classmates to a game at a time that suits them, and every finished game counts toward their game rating. In class, the coach can run a Class Cup where everyone plays, or a simul against the whole class.

Does Chess64 Studio work on phones and tablets?

Yes. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install.

Is Chess64 Studio available for academies in India?

Yes. Fees are kept in rupees (₹) and class times in India Standard Time by default, and academies elsewhere can choose their own currency and time zone.

Give your academy one place to grow.
